This is the part where I'm supposed to tell you about the magic formula that I've stumbled upon that is going to help you with your weight loss once and for all.
Well, part of that is true. The part about losing weight once and for all. But what I will share with you is not a magic formula. It's not even about working out or exercising.
The main strategy, and the one thing that has prevented you from losing weight, has been around FOREVER and followed by millions of people around the world. And that one thing is....FASTING. Before you get scared away, let me explain briefly what fasting really is and why it's so unbelievable not just for weight loss, but for your overall health as well. The reason you might not be that familiar with fasting is because it's not very popular in the United States. For a few reasons, the main one being that big companies don't stand to profit from it. And if they can't make money from it, they won't promote it! Sad, but true. But it's been proven time and time again on how it's one of the healthiest things you can do for your body (and mind!). Most people only know what they see in the mainstream media, which is usually only publicized and advertised to make money (see the theme here?). And more times than not it's unrealisitc for most people (P90X, Afterburn, Crossfit, etc) or it's the latest fad diet or supplement (Ozempic, Wegovy, etc.).
Which brings you back to the drawing board....again. And this inevitably leads you to stop trying altogether....thus resulting in excuses like "I've tried everything", or the very popular, "When you get older your metabolism slows down".
